DOES YOUR BABY HAVE ALLERGIES OR DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS?
When either of these things happen, it is necessary to consult your doctor who will recommend a suitable alternative.
You may consider goat milk based products as an alternative*.
Here are some signs that may indicate a potential allergy to cow or soy milk:
- Visible skin conditions such as a rash, hives (pink or red swellings on the skin) or eczema (dry skin that flakes).
- Vomiting or diarrhoea. However, stools that are too hard or too smelly may also signal a problem.
- Constant crying or visible unease.
- Too much ‘gas’.
- There is a red ring around the rectum that doesn’t disappear.
If your baby has any of the above symptoms, it is best to speak to your doctor or nurse as soon as possible to find an alternative milk source as soon as possible
