How Can Goat Milk
Formula Help With Digestive Problems?
Cow milk contains a high number of allergens and is harder to digest than goat milk.
From a scientific standpoint, the high amount of medium chain fatty acids and smaller fat particles mean that it is easier for your baby’s tummy to process goat milk.
As a result, changing your baby’s formula to a goat milk-based one may help with digestion.

How to Deal With Cow or Soy Milk Allergies
Have you found that your bubba is intolerant to cow milk formula?
Did you know that 8% of children under the age of three suffer from cow milk allergies?

Here are some signs that may indicate a potential allergy to cow or soy milk:

  • Visible skin conditions such as a rash, hives (pink or red swellings on the skin) or eczema (dry skin that flakes).
  • Vomiting or diarrhea. However, stools that are too hard or too smelly may also signal a problem.
  • Constant crying or visible unease.
  • Too much ‘gas’.
  • There is a red ring around the rectum that doesn’t disappear.
About half of those babies who are allergic to cow milk may also have a reaction to a soy-based milk formula.
Is your baby is allergic to cow or soy formula? Best to find an alternative milk source as soon as possible.
You also need to speak to your doctor or nurse as soon as possible.

How a Goat Milk Formula Can Help
Studies have shown (NIG Nutritionals handout) that there may be less of an allergic reaction to cow milk over goat milk.
